Misha Davydov
Space for Two

The room is the stage to perform (in the dark).

A circumstance is released from the figure and multiplied towards exhaustion. In this departure, an emptiness forms to step in and out of. Each other, behind and in front. To emit and disclose something is to conceal, also. To cut through; to delineate and permeate.

Light can be dragged, barely there, or accumulate to dissolve and expand. In these dead features, there is still something alive.

Anastasia Rose Denos
ANIMAL HOSPITAL

Erma sleeps. A train crashes into her bed, conducted by Sister Dear. Erma gets examined before giving birth to many rabbits.

–

Anthony Martinez-Galvan
American Curse: Prometheus Unbound, Then, and Again

-In memory of a near distant future; sheltered behind impalpable walls;
nothing to be done-

Élizabeth VR
An exhibition of the work of Élizabeth VR

The gallery is windowless and a black curtain
will divide the posterior gallery from the anterior.
Sunlight will only be seen at the threshold of the
anterior. Thus, the lighting of the exhibition will
be entirely artificial using tones conditioned

with amber and lavender. The lighting
will illuminate a performer or a performance
that is occurring or has just taken place.
At other times a schedule of video screenings
will be projected onto the east wall.

Élizabeth VR is a complex conjunction of
discipline and studio. Predicated on durational
performance in a sculptural tradition, works are
created, set, and performed by artists, poets, and
musicians, for designated and

undesignated periods of time. This structuring
of time and attention upholds the act of creation
through the repetition, rehearsal, and transcription
of existing artworks, texts, and orations as a means
of calling and circulating forms. It organizes the
social to facilitate a search for something that is
perceivable yet unfulfilled.
